More than language, an image or document and something less than an object
Pablo Vargas Lugo works and lives in Mexico City. His work allows unrelated forms of representation to coexist and overlap through a constant studio practice, involving field work and site-specific projects using different media and disciplines. He seeks to obtain an image that goes against its original motif by playing with angles, texture, materiality or scale, becoming something more than language, an image or document and something less than an object.
