Mayi de la Vega

A renowned real estate professional, Mayi began her 25-year real estate career at a boutique residential brokerage firm in Miami and quickly excelled in her field deciding to open her own local office.

Mayi later embraced an opportunity to partner with the internationally-recognized Sotheby’s brand and is now the Founder and CEO of ONE Sotheby's International Realty, a premier and global real estate firm specializing in luxury properties. Founded in 2008, ONE Sotheby’s International Realty has quickly expanded to include eight offices throughout South Florida and to house more than 300 full-time agents. Forming partnerships with the Sotheby’s brand in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Russia, Peru, and soon Panama, Mayi has enjoyed witnessing the South Florida market transform itself from a small beach town for vacationers into the international hub it is today.

Active in the community, Mayi is a current FIU College of Medicine committee member and raises funds to educate and create “home-grown” doctors as a solution to the present doctor shortage in Florida. She also sits on the Advisory Board to the Dean of the college. Additionally, Mayi is a ‘Guardian Angel’ of the Jackson Memorial Health Foundation, and a board member of Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation. As part of fundraising effort, Mayi collaborated with CIFO to create ONE|CIFO, a project in which artwork by contemporary artists from Latin America was exhibited at the One Sotheby’s office in Miami Beach and sold with proceeds going to the artist as well as CIFO’s Endowment Fund.
