Moacir dos Anjos

Moacir dos Anjos is a researcher and curator of contemporary art. He has been a research fellow at Joaquim Nabuco Foundation in Recife, Brazil since 1990 and was director of the Museu de Arte Moderna Aloísio Magalhaes, also in Recife, from 2001-2006. He was the head curator of the 29th Bienal de São Paulo (2010) and co-curator of Panorama da Arte Brasileira at the Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo (2007). Dos Anjos is also the author of several texts, including “Where All Places Are” (London: Tate, 2008) and Local/Global: arte em trânsito (Rio de Janeiro: Zahar, 2005). Most recently he curated (in combination with José Roca) the CIFO exhibition, Unsaid/Unspoken, and was an invited curator for Pinta Art Fair.
